Nice to meet you!
You will always know where your path will take you; happily, mine led me to working in real estate.
I am originally from farm country California and during my time at U.C. Santa Barbara, I had the opportunity to live and study in Vancouver, British Columbia and Tokyo, Japan. In 1992 I decided to stop over in Denver for a few months of skiing before heading east to grad school, and alas, fell in love with a very nice man and a beautiful city!
I got my start in marketing all those years ago, and connecting buyers and sellers is still what I do best. I take my responsibility to serve quite seriously and believe in solid analysis based on true data, persistent yet gracious negotiating, and uncompromising ethics. Oh, and I seem to have a real knack for problem solving too!
Like most, I wear a few different hats. So it’s not only my experience as a real estate agent, but also as a mom of three (let’s talk schools), and an active volunteer in my community, that gives me my insight into what Denver buyers are really looking for and what sellers need to get the job done.
The other “hat” I proudly wear, is that of owner of the Sweet William Market in Stapleton. I love all things handcrafted and upcycled and the thrill of connecting shoppers with the treasures they hunt for. But as the organizer of this seasonal lifestyle market, I’ve also helped hundreds of vendors stage and merchandise their spaces with targeted marketing to draw in those buyers.
I’m so pleased to partner with the New Perspective Team and the top-notch resources of Compass. The ‘Can Do’ culture and the unsurpassed focus on the client experience fits nicely with my commitment to personal touches and caring for my people. I’m quite stubborn about truly taking care of my clients and believe there is always a solution; it’s just a matter of finding it.
In my spare time I’ve been coordinating events for the kid’s schools, and weddings at our church. Soon to be an empty nester though, I’m hoping to take a little break and do a little more skiing, diving, riding my bike down to City Park, maybe learn to row or knit, and definitely cozy up with a good read at the end of the day.
I’m always happy to help. Give me a call if I can lend a hand!
